Keeping their annual appointment, Benedittu Productions of St Benedict’s College Secondary Kirkop are presenting the Christmas pantomime Il-Gżira tat-Teżor, a humorous retelling of the classic Treasure Island. The performances will be spread over ten days, with five morning shows for schools and five evening shows for the general public. This year, Benedittu Productions are working in collaboration with ALS Malta and a percentage of profit will be donated to this good cause. Also in agreement with the Ministry for Family and Social Solidarity, a show will be open for the elderly from various residences around Malta. The aim is to bring together two distinct generations, the young on stage with those who worked so hard for us, in the audience. A great number of teachers and students worked incessantly after school hours and at weekends to produce this pantomime filled with side-splitting comedy. Shows are on 11th, 13th and 18th December at 5pm and 17th December at 6:30pm. For more information go on the Facebook page Benedittu Productions where one can find more updates about Il-Gżira tat-Teżor and from where tickets can be bought.
